How Much Does SEO Cost in Dubai in 2026?
SEO in Dubai costs between AED 1,500 and AED 25,000 per month in 2026. Most growing SMEs land between AED 4,000 and AED 12,000 for a retainer that produces measurable organic growth within three to six months. Anything under AED 1,500 is almost always automated reporting with no real work behind it.
This page is competitive precisely because it is the question every buyer asks. So here is the version with actual numbers rather than "it depends".
Price bands by business size
Small local business: AED 1,500 to 3,500 a month. Single location, limited competition. Google Business Profile optimisation, local citations, on-page work, a small amount of content. Realistic for a clinic, salon or trade business targeting one area.
Growing SME: AED 4,000 to 12,000 a month. Multiple services or locations, moderate competition. Technical work, a real content programme, link building, proper reporting. This is where most serious UAE businesses sit.
Competitive sectors: AED 12,000 to 25,000+ a month. Real estate, finance, legal and healthcare. These verticals have deep-pocketed incumbents and require significantly more content and authority building to move.
What you are actually paying for
Technical work. Site speed, Core Web Vitals, crawlability, indexing, structured data. Usually front-loaded in the first two months.
Content. Quality SEO content in the UAE runs AED 300 to 1,500 per article. A full programme is AED 3,000 to 12,000 monthly. This is normally the largest ongoing line.
Link building and digital PR. AED 2,000 to 8,000 monthly. The slowest and most misunderstood part.
Strategy and reporting. Senior consultants here charge AED 400 to 1,200 an hour. Cheap retainers usually mean no senior time at all.
The Arabic multiplier
Effective SEO in the UAE often requires both English and Arabic. Arabic SEO needs native-level writers who understand Gulf dialect search behaviour, not translation. Expect a bilingual programme to cost 40 to 70 percent more than English alone.
It is frequently worth it. Arabic search competition is far thinner than English in most verticals.
Traps to watch for
Guaranteed rankings. Nobody controls Google. A guarantee means either meaningless keywords or techniques that will eventually cost you.
Fixed packages with no audit. If a proposal arrives before anyone has looked at your site, it is a template.
Reporting on the wrong things. Impressions and "keywords improved" are easy to inflate. Insist on reporting tied to enquiries and revenue.
Cheap link packages. Bulk links from irrelevant sites are the fastest route to a penalty. Recovery costs more than the links saved.
What results should look like
Months 1 to 2: technical fixes, baseline, content starting.
Months 3 to 4: early movement on long-tail terms, first traffic gains.
Months 5 to 8: meaningful rankings on commercial terms, leads arriving.
Months 9 and beyond: compounding, with content published earlier still gaining.
If you are told to expect page-one rankings for a competitive head term in three months, walk away.
How to decide what to spend
Work backwards from a lead. If a customer is worth AED 20,000 and you close one in five leads, ten additional leads a month justifies a substantial retainer comfortably. If your average order value is AED 200, SEO may not be your best first channel at all, and an honest agency will tell you so.
